Vice Chairman – Autauga/Prattville Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)
Prattville, Alabama
January 2012 to January 2013

Elected Vice Chairman of a county-level emergency response organization supporting disaster preparedness and community resilience. Collaborated with local government, first responders, and volunteers to coordinate emergency drills, manage training programs, and enhance public awareness of disaster readiness. Provided leadership in policy discussions, strategic planning, and resource allocation to strengthen county-wide response capabilities.

June 2008 to November 2012

Appointed to a municipal board with governing authority established by the Alabama State Legislature. Contributed to policy development, budget oversight, and long-term strategic planning for the revitalization of the Daniel Pratt Historic District. Partnered with civic leaders, local businesses, and community stakeholders to secure funding, preserve historic assets, and drive economic growth through heritage-based development initiatives.
